I am a software engineer with over a decade of experience building myriad applications in the fields of medicine, aerospace, finance to name a few.
I love solving interesting, challenging problems that lead to useful solutions, especially those that have not been solved before. I enjoy writing quality software. I am comfortable in many programming languages but C++ is my favorite - I love how powerful the language is, the rules that have been laid down for its usage and its applications ranging from embedded systems and the operating system level to computer vision, GPU programming and other high performant applications. I stand with free open source software and have used many frameworks, databases and libraries that have proven to be excellent tools for software development. ROS, OpenDDS, Apache Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, PostGreSQL, STL, OpenCV, Visualization Toolkit to name a few.
I'm also a musician who loves to play guitar, study music, compose and write songs. I have been studying music at the Berklee College of Music in my free time, majoring in performance guitar. Berklee offers an incredible learning platform geared toward different instruments and various facets of music. They have prolific teachers who have a lot of to offer which I have gained a ton from already.
